The Buchanan Center for the Arts is putting out the call to all artists to enter their pieces for the annual Art from the HeARTland. Executive Director Kristyne Gilbert explains the details:
“Art from the HeARTland features artwork from all mediums from our local and regional artists. This year’s juror is Susan Czechowski, who is an art professor from Western Illinois University, will serve as our juror. Artists may submit up to three original pieces produced within the last two years. Artwork previously exhibited is not accepted. Entry fees are $5 per artwork if you are a BCA member, if you are a non-member it is $8. Deadline for entry and delivery of work into the Art for the HeARTland is Saturday, July 8th.
