GALESBURG — Carl Sandburg College will host a youth summer basketball camp July 17-19 in John Lewis Gymnasium on Sandburg’s Main Campus in Galesburg.
Led by Chargers men’s basketball coach Ryan Twaddle and women’s basketball coach Kellen Fernetti, campers will learn fundamentals in dribbling, ball-handling, passing and shooting from Sandburg coaches and players. The camp is open for boys and girls entering grades 3-8. Campers in grades 3-5 will meet from 9-11 a.m. each day, and grades 6-8 will meet from 1-3 p.m.
The cost is $25 per camper ($20 for each additional player from the same household) and is payable by cash or check on the first day of camp. Registration includes a camp T-shirt. The deadline to register is July 13.
