Mike and Sarah Moore Officially Announce Moore Memorial Homes

Mike and Sarah Moore of Roseville recently purchased Wise Family Funeral Homes and have now put their name on the business, Moore Memorial Homes. Since getting her mortuary science degree at Carl Sandburg College, Sarah completed her apprenticeship in Quincy, and worked in the pathology lab at Cottage Hospital, before assisting at McGuire and Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, which then led to the purchase of the now Moore Memorial Homes:

“We heard through the grapevine that Jeremy Wise, who was the owner of Wise Family Funeral Home, was looking to start a new chapter in his life. We approached him and I know he had had another offer down the road and he was really excited to have somebody that was more local put our two senses on it. That is how that come to be, we approached him and he was very easy to work with. It took a little bit longer than any of us anticipated to finally get everything taken care of, but we are glad we were able to take over a community business.”

Moore Memorial Homes has locations in Roseville, Alexis, and Avon.
