The strawberry moon is lighting up the sky this weekend. It’s the last full moon of spring and the name comes from Native American tribes “to mark the ripening of ‘June-bearing’ strawberries that are ready to be gathered,” according to the Old Farmer’s Almanac. NASA says the moon will appear full for three days, starting Saturday night. The space agency says it will shine brightest at 11:42 p.m. Eastern Time.
