Bob Ray and Julie Shaw Retiring After Decades of Service to the Warren Achievement Center Community

Share

Two tenured employees at Warren Achievement Center have recently announced their retirements, shares Marketing Coordinator Sean Cavanaugh:

“Bob Ray, he had been here for 41 years. He was the Director of Public Transportation, while also being the Director of Buildings and Grounds. He began as a Maintenance Specialist and he worked his way up to be in a very important leadership position. Sadly, Julie Shaw is going to be retiring soon. She has been with Warren Achievement Center over 30 years. She is currently training Kylie Maher for that role. Kylie has the background in it, she will do a great job and Julie is a great teacher, wonderful person, big heart. When you have people like Bob and Julie that are there for so long, when they walk out that door, a lot of knowledge goes with it.”

Warren Achievement Center provides opportunities for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities to learn and be active members of the local community.
