The 2023 Knox County Fair is underway in Knoxville and already there has been increased attendance from last year. Lynn Lydic, office manager of the Knox County Fair says they saw double attendance on night one and even in fair entries.

“This year, my office girls have kept tabs through the years and this year seems that all entries are up and some of them are doubled from what we’ve had in the past,” said Lydic.

This growth is not just in fair entries. Lydic said that there has also been growth in the shows they put on as well. She shares some of the highlights of the 2023 fair.

“Some of our food vendors, we have some new ones going on this year,” said Lydic. “Our car show is back for Saturday morning which we have not had due to weather for a couple of years. That’ll be on Saturday morning at nine. So come out walk through check out all the cars and and then of course our evening events- the bigger and better shows. That’s probably our newest.”

You can check out the Knox County Fair this week through July 15th.
