JCC Executive Director Nancy Mowen Says Donations are Accepted Two Days a Week

Share

Donations are always welcomed at the Jamieson Community Center’s Community Marketplace. Executive Director Nancy Mowen shares the accepted items:

“Clothing is what most people think of, but we really take anything you would have in your house. Furniture is really welcomed and it usually sells within a day of coming in. Our goal in the Thrift Store is that anyone can walk in and get the things they need for their family at a price they can afford. Kids toys, games, are really welcomed. We have a great selection of books. The only thing we can’t accept are mattresses because there is a law against reselling those and we don’t take the older style televisions.”

Donation days are Mondays and Thursdays only between the hours of 10 am to 4 pm on the back side of the building, with a limit of two bags per drop off.
