McDonough County Sheriff Nick Petitgout Comments on Recent Upholding of the SAFE-T Act Eliminating Cash Bail

Last Tuesday, the Illinois Supreme Court upheld the Pretrial Fairness Act, or SAFE-T Act, and ruled it as constitutional, which then eliminates cash bail across the state. McDonough County Sheriff Nick Petitgout explains how this affects local law enforcement and the Illinois judicial system:
