This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Isolated thunderstorms may develop this afternoon and evening, a
few of which may be strong and produce locally heavy rainfall.

A better chance for more organized and potentially severe storms
may occur late tonight into Wednesday morning. The primary threat
from these storms will be damaging winds and large hail. These
storms will also have the capability to produce heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

Thunderstorms are forecast to be ongoing Wednesday morning with the
potential for multiple rounds of thunderstorms on Wednesday. There
is a Slight or level 2 out of 5 risk of severe thunderstorms with
the primary threats of damaging winds, large hail, and heavy
rainfall that may produce some flash flooding.

An active weather pattern is forecast through the remainder of the
period with daily chances of showers and thunderstorms. There is
Marginal or level 1 risk of severe thunderstorms on Thursday morning
if convection is ongoing. The main threats are isolated damaging
wind, and large hail.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed tonight, and then again on
Wednesday.

Aledo DMV Closing June 11

The Aledo DMV is closing next month.  The Illinois Secretary of State says it’s shutting down the facility on June 11th because the state couldn’t agree on a new lease
