The 2023 Macomb/Western Holiday Boys Basketball Tournament Will Use a Shot Clock

Share

In breaking news Thursday morning, the Macomb/Western Boys Holiday Basketball Tournament will include the use of a 35 second shot clock. Recently, the IHSA announced they were not ready to implement the shot clock for regular season play yet but, like last season, tournaments and shootouts are welcome to use them for experimentation use in the 2023-2024 season. The Macomb/Western Holiday Tournament decided not to use the shot clock last winter but will use it for the upcoming tournament, which begins the week after Christmas Day.
