To wrap up the 2023 season at the Pattee Outdoor Pool, the Warren County YMCA will hold their second annual Doggie Splash on Sunday, August 13th. Healthy Living Director Staci Bass shares the details for getting your dog signed up to swim:
“Our Doggie Splash is going to happen right after we close on the 13th. It is for all sizes. We will have the small group from 5:30 to 6:15 pm and then we have our large 50 pounds and over from 6:30 to 7:15 pm. It is $10 for one dog and one adult. You must be 16 to bring your dog. If you have a second dog, that is fine, it is an additional $5. We do ask that the dogs have been registered and are current on their vaccines. They have to be on a leash until they get to the pool. You have to stay with your dog at all times. In the deep end you can’t swim with your dogs.”
Proceeds from the Doggie Splash will benefit the Western Illinois Animal Rescue.
