Farm Progress Show Returns To Illinois For Its 70th Anniversary

Share

The Illinois Farm Progress show kicks off its 2023 show on August 29th. Little York’s Matt Jungmann, Farm Progress Show Manager, gives a show preview.

“The thing that keeps the show fresh is the work the exhibitors do; they are always bringing the next new thing. This year there is more of that than ever. There are cutting-edge technology-type things, there is a new entrance into the autonomy area. We have several companies that are going to be unveiling electric vehicles whether that’s electric tractors or electric side by side. And then you have AI which is like John Deere See and Spray or the smart sprayer technology where the machine is picking out the weeds and selectively spraying. Then all kinds of product introductions- new things from all of the majors, the new Big Bud is going to be on-site, Nexat… the list just goes on.”

The Farm Progress Show will take place from August 29th to the 31st in Decatur Illinois. More information on the show and the vendors can be found on the Show’s website.
