The Monmouth-Roseville High School football team will get their 2023 campaign started tonight with a Three Rivers Conference Crossover home match against the Tigers of Princeton High School. In the first AP Coaches Poll of the fall season, Princeton was ranked as the number 2 team in the state in Class 3A, receiving the most first place votes in the poll. Appearing on the WRAM Morning Show on Friday, Titans Head Coach Jeremy Adolphson says he believes that his team is ready for the challenge that Princeton will bring, stating that week 1 is the perfect time to give the varsity roster its biggest test.
Tonight’s contest between Monmouth-Roseville and Princeton will kick-off an hour later due to extreme heat in the area. You can hear the Titans battle Princeton live on Sunny 97.7, beginning with the pregame show at 7:40, and kick-off at 8:00.
The United High School football team is also ready to get their season started tonight. Unlike the Titans however, the Red Storm will be kicking off their fall 2023 season on the road with a match up against the Golden Eagles of Mercer County. This year’s game between the Red Storm and Mercer County will likely be the last one for a while, as the Golden Eagles leave for the Three Rivers Conference next season. United Head Coach David Milroy previewed what he expects to see from this new version of Mercer County, as they graduated a great class of seniors in 2022.
United vs Mercer County will kick off at their originally scheduled time of 7:00. You can hear all the action live on AM 1330/FM 94.1 WRAM, beginning with the pregame show at 6:40.
