The Monmouth-Roseville and United High School boys golf teams met at Gibson Woods Golf Course on Monday night for the third annual Monmouth Cup. The Monmouth Cup was started in 2021 with the winner of the two local schools separated by just three miles getting the traveling trophy for the upcoming school year.

Monmouth-Roseville won the inaugural Cup in 2021 on a 6th man tiebreaker and then followed that up with a 21 stroke victory in 2022. Monday night’s match was in between those margins, with Monmouth-Roseville keeping the trophy for the upcoming school year as the Titans get a 16 stroke win, 178-194.

Individual scoring-wise, Monmouth-Roseville’s Bryson Hall was the meet medalist, blistering the course with a 38. He was joined in the scoring column by Jake Steele’s 43, Noah Eiler’s 48 and Max Ferguson’s 49. United was led by Luke Jungmann’s 44, Carson Horner’s 48, Aiden Martin’s 49 and Lance Bakers’ 53.
