A heat wave currently impacting much of West Central Illinois has effected the start of the academic and athletic school year, with schools letting students out early, and many high school and junior high sports contests being postponed or cancelled. At Monmouth-Roseville High School, students are being released at 12:30 throughout the rest of the week, as temperatures are expected to be in the high 90s until this Saturday. Appearing on the WRAM morning show on Monday, Head Football Coach at Monmouth Roseville Jeremy Adolphson talked about the adjustments they will make to practice this week, as they prepare for their season opener on Friday night.
