Six Warren County Board members and three office holders are up for reelection, reports Warren County Treasurer Danielle Cox:

“Steve Hawkins, Robbie Way, Tim Bresnahan, Todd Winkler, Dave Jenks, Melanie Monroe, and then our office holders Circuit Clerk Denise Schreck, State’s Attorney Tom Siegel, and Coroner Al McGuire. They will start passing out petitions very soon.”

Signatures for the petition process of reelection will begin in the first part of September.

Petitions to become a member of the Warren County Republican Central Committee will be available this fall, shares Committee Member Martin Edwards:

“We don’t have all the precincts filled, there are 28 in the County. It is an electable position. If you live in a particular precinct, all it takes is just a few signatures and you can turn that in and be elected to that position. We also do appointments if you missed the cycle or are new to the committee, just come to a committee meeting and ask to be appointed and you can be appointed actually to any precinct. If you live within a particular one and you would like to be the precinct captain or the precinct chair, then certainly you can be elected into do that.”

Those running for one of the 28 precincts of the Warren County Republican Central Committee will appear on the election ballot in the spring.
