Warren County Deputies and Monmouth Police Assist in Car Chase Incident

On the early morning of August 1st, a Beardstown woman was taken to a Peoria hospital for treatment after leading local law enforcement on a chase that began with an incident in Beardstown. Kelly Bradbury, 41 of Beardstown allegedly took a vehicle by knife point in Beardstown. Bradbury was spotted and pursued by McDonough County Deputies until she entered Warren County. Bradbury was then pursued by Warren County Deputies to Monmouth, where Monmouth Police successfully deployed a tire deflation device. The car stopped in the parking lot of Becks, where Bradbury was ordered out of the vehicle by Deputies and Monmouth Police.  It was determined Bradbury sustained self-inflicted wounds, and she was treated on scene until GHAS ambulance service arrived. She was subsequently flown to a hospital in Peoria.  The Warren County Sheriff’s Office is cooperating with the Beardstown Police Department where the matter remains under investigation.
