The Abingdon-Avon Tornadoes football team returns home this week for a Lincolnland-Small division matchup with the Titans of Annawan/Wethersfield. A-Town enters this Friday nights contest with an 0-4 record both overall and in conference play, after a 38-20 loss over the weekend to Rushville/Industry. Despite the rough start and last weeks loss for the Tornadoes, Abingdon-Avon Head Coach Rick Quinn praised his team for playing the game all the way to the end, after falling behind 32-6 to the Rockets in the first half.

A-Town’s game vs Annawan/Wethersfield on Friday night will kick-off from Abingdon-Avon High School in Abingdon at 7:00. A/W is coming off a 35-0 victory over the United Red Storm. For the full interview with Coach Quinn, visit the Sports Podcast section of our website, radiomonmouth.com.
