John Deere Harvester Works Announces Indefinite Layoffs

John Deere Harvester Works is laying off employees next month. The company announced that it has informed workers at its East Moline facility that around 225 production employees will be placed on indefinite layoff on October 16th. John Deere says each factory balances the size of its production workforce with the needs of the individual factory to optimize the workforce at each facility.
