Medicare Open Enrollment Right Around the Corner

Share

Open enrollment for seniors 65 and older or those on disability that are eligible for Medicare is right around the corner, and local Insurance Broker Sean Stevens says this is the time to review your plans:

“The reviewing of the plans mostly falls to the prescription plans and the advantage plans. There is no review for supplemental plans even though some people get confused and think that is something they need to do. It is always good to review that program, but there is no timeline. I always tell folks that it is a good chance to review as your prescriptions can change, companies can change, and it really is something that needs to be done.”

Open enrollment for Medicare opens October 15th and closes December 7th.
