The United Red Storm football team looks to get back in the win column on Friday night when they host the Abingdon-Avon Tornadoes for their 2023 Homecoming game. After starting the season 2-0, the Red Storm have dropped their last 3 games to bring their record to 2-3. All 3 defeats have come within the Lincolnland-Small School Division. Ahead of their big homecoming match up with A-Town, United Head Coach David Milroy praised the opposing Tornadoes as a “high effort team”, also stating that he wants to see his team bring the energy tonight, as well as the home crowd tonight at UHS.

United’s homecoming game vs A-Town will kick-off from United High School on Friday night at 7:00. You can catch all the action live on AM 1330/FM 94.1 WRAM. Coverage will begin with the pregame show at 6:40.

The Monmouth-Roseville Titans football team was originally scheduled to be in action on Friday night against Rockridge. Due to the ongoing official shortage, that contest has been moved to Saturday afternoon. Going into the game, the Titans currently sit at 3-2 on the season and are coming off a homecoming weekend loss to the undefeated Morrison Mustangs in week 5. Appearing on the WRAM Morning Show on Friday morning, Monmouth-Roseville Head Coach Jeremy Adolphson went over the potential keys to getting a road win over Rockridge, as the Titans look to get closer to IHSA playoff eligibility.

Monmouth-Roseville’s road game on Saturday against the Rockets will kick-off from Rockridge High School at 1:00. You can hear it live on Saturday on Sunny 97.7 WMOI, with coverage beginning with the pregame show at 12:40.
