On Thursday, October 26th, the Knox County Area Partnership for Economic Development and the Galesburg Area Vocational Center will host the annual Manufacturing and Trades Showcase, shares KCAP’s Director of Communications and Development Abby Colvin:
“They have had a showcase here for a few years, it is a manufacturing showcase. We usually see about 1,200 students go through that. All of the vendors that come are very interactive with the students and this year we are going to add some seventh and eighth graders as well.”
The showcase will be held at the Galesburg Area Vocational Center, 940 West Fremont Street, from 8:30 am to 2 pm.
