Monmouth City Administrator Lew Steinbrecher Shares Goals of RISE Economic Recovery Plan

In the fall of 2022, the City of Monmouth received a Research in Illinois to Spur Economic Recovery (RISE) grant through the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to prepare economic strategies for the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally funneled through the Maple City Area Partnership, Monmouth City Council, and the Warren County Board will soon join together to execute the planning process. City Administrator Lew Steinbrecher explains the future goals in utilizing the RISE grant:

The consideration to adopt the final plan of the RISE grant for economic recovery will appear on the agenda of the next Monmouth City Council meeting.
