Warren Achievement Center Grateful for Continued Community Support

Share

This Saturday, October 14th, Monmouth Fareway Meat and Grocery is teaming up with Warren Achievement Center to host a fundraising cookout from 11 am to 1 pm. To further provide programs for those living with developmental and cognitive disabilities, the Knights of Columbus recently held their Tootsie Roll Drive, with proceeds benefiting Warren Achievement Center, shares Marketing Coordinator Sean Cavanaugh:

“The Knights of Columbus, they have their annual Tootsie Roll Drive. Staff from Warren Achievement Center, Special Olympics, and others were scattered about town and we will be receiving a very generous donation as a result of that. It is one of the things that they raise money for every year, the Knights of Columbus. It is a nice long tradition of their civic involvement and that is one of their projects and we are very fortunate to be on the receiving end of that.”

Additionally, Psychology and Exercise Science double major at Monmouth College Anna Castor will be interning at Warren Achievement Center, working with the achievers on her project of slowing the progression of dementia.
