After Rough Start, United Red Storm Boys Adjusting on the Fly

Share

The United High School boys basketball team is starting to find their rhythm this season, as they are on a three game winning streak. After opening their season with losses to Henry-Senachwine, Riverdale, and ROWVA/Williamfield in Thanksgiving tournament action, the Red Storm have rebounded with wins over Galva, West Central, and Bushnell-Prairie City to push their record to 3-3 overall. United’s latest wins mark the first in the United varsity coaching career of new head coach Jason Lancaster. Speaking on the WRAM Morning Show on Thursday, Coach Lancaster previewed the Red Storm’s upcoming game with undefeated Orion, saying the game will be a tough early test of this United ballclub.

Thursday’s United vs Orion boys contest will tip-off from United High School at 7:00. The Red Storm’s only other game of this week will come on Saturday, when they travel to play North Fulton Saturday night. For the full interview with Coach Lancaster, visit the Sports Podcast section.
