Enrollment into the local 4-H clubs is now going on, with a deadline of December 1st for former members wanting to show in next year’s fair, shares University of Illinois Extension Communications and Marketing Coordinator Wendy Ferguson:

“If you are interested in joining 4-H or would like to learn more about it, feel free to give us a call at any one of our county offices. We can get you set up with a club if you are not already affiliated. If you have been in 4-H before and you are hoping to show at next year’s fair, there is a deadline of December 1st to enroll. If you are new to 4-H, you don’t have that deadline.”

Additional information about joining 4-H can be found online at 4h.extension.illinois.edu.
