Joan Neice was born on August 15th, 1940 to Glen and Mildred Youngren.  She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Ray Youngren.  Surviving are her sons Rick Neice and Dan (Liz Holliday Gardner) Harris, and her sisters Debbie (John) Solis and Deena (Mike) Murphy.

She was employed by Gates Rubber Company for decades and worked hard to provide for her family.  She was a wonderful mother, sister and friend. Throughout most her life she dealt with multiple, significant health challenges, although those difficulties did not prevent her from maintaining a positive outlook on life.  She was always happy to see you and always interested in whatever was happening with you.  She had a strong faith and trusted Jesus as her Savior and Lord later in life and loved growing closer to Him through Bible Studies and attending Bethel Baptist Church.

Cremation rites have been accorded. No public services are planned. Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes and Crematory are assisting the family with arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may be left to the family at www.hurd-hendricksfuneralhome.com
