Knox County Humane Society Honoring Pets with Annual Luminaria

On New Year’s Eve, the Knox County Humane Society will host their annual luminaria to honor everyone’s pets shares Executive Director Erin Buckmaster:

“We will be lighting candles for all the pets. It you would like to come out and buy a luminary even before the night of, they are $5 each for each pet. We light up the whole sidewalk out front in memory of everybody’s pets. It is really a nice way to honor your pets that you have lost and also help the shelter pets.”

The Knox County Humane Society is open daily 8 am to 5 pm and noon to 3 pm on Sundays.
