What makes a wine stand out from others and have that unique taste? Market Alley Wines Owner Sarah Walters explains it has to do with where the grapes are grown:
“It is all about the landscape. It is all about where they are located in relation to the equator. If you look at the parallels, it matters where they are and certain parallels just produce great grapes. Grapes love to work hard, so you would be surprised that some of the best wines come out of the worst soil, the rocky soils makes those vines really work hard to produce the great grapes.”
