Monmouth City Council Will Meet Pension Fund Requirements Without Any Additional Funds of Fees

Despite recent concerns of the Monmouth City Council on experiencing a shortfall in funding police and fire pensions, the $1 million Council levied for each fund will meet the funding and not require any additional funds or fees, explains Mayor Rod Davies:

The Total Tax Levy for 2023, which will be collected in 2024 for the City of Monmouth, is just over $2.7 million.
