The American Football Coaches Association has named Monmouth College Sophomore Defensive End Anthony Cikauskas to their All-American First Team. After a nice freshman year in 2022 to start his Scots career, Cikauskas followed that campaign up with a dominant sophomore season this year that saw Cikauskas record 17 sacks, 57 total tackles, 26 tackles for loss, and 5 forced fumbles. Cikauskas’s stellar performance this season helped guide the Scots to a 9-2 overall record, and a second straight win in the Cousins Subs Lakefront Bowl. With more on Cikauskas’s AFCA first-team selection for the Scots, here’s Monmouth College Sports Information Director, Nathan Baliva.
Cikauskas joins Scots offensive lineman Derek Brown as the second Monmouth player to be recognized for their play this season, as Brown was named to the All-Region team last week by D3football.com.
