Bears Retain Head Coach Matt Eberflus And Fire OC Luke Getsy

The Bears are moving on from their offensive coordinator. The team fired Luke Getsy yesterday along with four other offensive assistants. GM Ryan Poles says he’ll keep Matt Eberflus for the 2024 season. Poles says the head coach’s strength was holding the team together during early season and mid season adversity. Luke Getsy spent the last two seasons calling the shots on offense for the Bears, who had the 15th worst scoring offense last season.
