Country Financial Reps Rachael Gipe and Sally Waddell Hosting Farm Panel Discussion

On Tuesday, January 30th, local Country Financial Representatives Rachael Gipe and Sally Waddell will host their 2024 Farm Panel Discussion for all local farmers, livestock producers, or anyone invested in agriculture. Waddell shares the panelists and topics of discussion:

“Our panelists are Kevin Semlow from the Illinois Farm Bureau, Joe Youngman our Agency Manager with Country Financial, and Alyssa Stewart who is an Agricultural Attorney from Burlington. She does a lot of work in both Iowa and Illinois. We are going to talk about the Farm Bill implementation, Kevin is kind of an expert on that, some estate planning, taxation, the problems with that, and farm continuation plans; ways to keep your farm going if you have kids that farm, kids that don’t, just some ideas on that.”

The Farm Panel Discussion will be held at Saint Pat’s Community Center outside Raritan beginning at 11 am on January 30th with a prime rib luncheon to follow. More details or to reserve your spot, call 309-924-1152.
