Galesburg Police Seeking Tips in Dairy Queen Robbery

On January 11, 2024, at approximately 9:00 p.m., the Galesburg Police Department responded to a robbery at Dairy Queen, 1048 Grand Avenue, Galesburg, IL. Two males wearing masks and gloves entered the store. One suspect placed a bag on the counter and an employee saw the barrel of a gun sticking out of the bag. The suspects demanded money and took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. The suspects then departed. Detectives responded to the scene. A canvass of the area was conducted, and the case remains under investigation.
