McDonough Power Cooperative Making Progress Addressing Power Outages

Progress has been made in restoring power for McDonough Power Cooperative customers in McDonough and Warren counties. As of 5:30 Wednesday morning, McDonough Power reported 479 outages, down from over 1,000. 

On Tuesday, the power cooperative began addressing the power outages throughout their service area crediting some to down wires. Additional crews from MJM Electric Cooperative, Inc. and Menard Electric Cooperative assisted with overnight power restoration. The crews worked through the night in the snow and wind to restore power. 

McDonough Power reminds customers experiencing outages to report it and any related information at (309) 837-1400.
