Monmouth-Roseville Titan Girls Basketball Hitting Stride as Regular Season Winds Down

Share

The Monmouth-Roseville Lady Titans basketball team improved their overall record to 15-10 with a 54-26 win over Three Rivers Conference rival Rockridge at home on Monday. The win for the Mon-Rose girls comes as a nice bounce back from a tough 39-37 loss to Illini West on Saturday. As January winds down, and regional tournament time edges closer and closer, each game for the Lady Titans becomes more important the last. In their upcoming stretch, the girls host several important contests at the Shoebox, taking on (16-9) Morrison on Thursday, then matching up with (14-9) Sherrard at home on Monday. Speaking on the WRAM Morning Show on Wednesday, girls Head Coach Scott Weber says the team is looking to take care of business this week, as they look to make their case to lock up a top seed in the class 2A Canton Sub-Sectional.

Thursday night’s Lady Titans vs Morrison Fillies contest will tip-off from the Shoebox of Monmouth-Roseville High School at 7:00. You can hear all the action from that contest live on AM 1330/FM 95.7 WRAM, or online at radiomonmouth.com. Pre-game show coverage will begin at 6:45.
