Traffic Alert
At this time, (Saturday 1/13/24 @ 1600hrs) we are strongly advising against traveling in Knox County.
Most North/South roads have drifted over on the Southbound lane and are becoming impassable.
Plow crews are not able to keep up with the blowing and drifting snow.
Tow services have been suspended outside the City of Galesburg.
Plow services are very limited at this time. Some roadways may not be able to be passable until Monday.
Emergency services are also limited at this time due to the road conditions.
We highly recommend everyone stay off the roadways until conditions improve. We do not have an update as to when that will be.
