Are You Prepared for Potential Crisis Situations on the Farm?

Share

The Illinois Farm Bureau and Country Financial are teaming up to host four ‘Emergency Planning on Your Farm’ seminars throughout February. Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau Manager Gina Sandberg shares details on the event in Rock Island on February 8th:

“Mike Pearson, who was the former host of Market to Market and currently anchors This Week in Agribusiness, he is going to be one of the keynote speakers at these seminars. There will be four throughout the state, but the one I wanted to highlight that is closest to our county is Thursday, February 8th at 5 pm in Rock Island. These seminars are basically going to cover if a crisis happens or something happens on your farm, whether it is weather related or just a severe disaster or if it is a life threatening farm accident, just things people should be aware of and things you can do to be preventative, but then also if this does happen, how you should go from there.”

Additionally, on Monday February 12th at 10 am, there will be a virtual option for the ‘Emergency Planning on Your Farm.’ More details at whfarmbureau.org.
