IDOT Awards 7 New Vehicles To Galesburg’s Public Transportation Fleet

Share

Galesburg will be adding 7 new vehicles to its public transportation fleet. This is thanks to funding being awarded by the Illinois Department of Transportation. IDOT is providing more than five-hundred paratransit vehicles worth over 57-million-dollars to over one-hundred transit agencies across the state. The vehicles being awarded to the City of Galesburg are mid-sized transit vehicles, which provide individual rides for people who can’t use the traditional fixed-route bus system.
