The University of Illinois Extension provides the community with a variety of learning opportunities and events, geared to help families businesses and community leaders adapt to changes, solve problems, and make informed decisions. Tessa Hobbs-Curley, Family Life Educator with Illinois Extension shares some of the upcoming learning opportunities.

“We have a webinar series, titled Thinking, Learning, Caring. This is targeted to those who are employed in the caregiving field, whether you are in formal or working in a private home, assisted living, or nursing home facility- anyone can attend these sessions. The second webinar series is titled Don’t Go It Alone, and it is improving your social connections,” says Hobbs-Curley. “The third one that we are offering is in June titled Navigating Changes as We Age. The one thing that we are all doing together as human beings is we are all aging. The fourth webinar is Compassion Fatigue: The Cost of Caring for Others.”

To register or to learn more information on these upcoming webinars, Hobbs-Curley says you can call the Extension office or visit Go.Illinois.edu/TLCWebinars2024.
