Monmouth-Roseville Titan Girls Basketball Focused on Another Regional Title Run

The regular season is officially over for the Monmouth-Roseville Titans girls’ basketball team, as they get set to start play in the class 2A Macomb regional next Monday. After a close loss at home to the Macomb Bombers last Wednesday, the Lady Titans rattled off three straight wins over Orion on senior night, Farmington on the road this past Saturday, and Brimfield at home this Monday to close the year with another 20-win season for the program. Now with the regular season in the rearview mirror, the Lady Titans can look on to their matchup for regional semifinals on Monday, as they will play against the winner of Saturday’s game between Rockridge and Mercer County. As the Lady Titans prepare themselves for regionals, Head Coach Scott Weber discussed what Monmouth-Roseville will need to do to make a deep run in the postseason.

Monmouth-Roseville will look to make it the second straight year with a regional title, as the program won its first regional title last season. February 12th’s regional semifinal matchup between the Lady Titans and the winner of Rockridge and Mercer County will tip-off at Macomb High School at 7:30.
