State Senator Neil Anderson (R-Andalusia) spent Valentines Day hand delivering homemade cards as a part of his annual Valentines for Seniors Card Drive.
“It’s great to see so many organizations and groups across the district donate their time and efforts to help us put a smile on seniors faces this Valentines Day,” said Senator Anderson. “To see the reactions on residents faces when we hand them a personalized card is fulfilling and is why we continue to do this annual card drive year after year.”
Senator Anderson’s Valentines for Seniors Card Drive was created to allow members of the community a chance to donate their time and creativity in making cards to be delivered to nursing homes, assisted-living facilities and other long-term care facilities across the 47th Senate District.
This year Senator Anderson’s office delivered thousands of cards to nearly 30 facilities across the district during the Valentines week.
