Tri-County Cattlemen’s Association to Host Two Speakers in Upcoming Cattle Forum

The Tri-County Cattlemen’s Association has a new educational event on the calendar for 2024. On March 22, the Cattlemen will host their first Cattlemen Forum, a free event featuring speakers, dinner, and a social hour. Tri-County Cattlemen Secretary Gayle Baker says this event will take the place of the Summer Tours the group has hosted in the past.

“We are hosting two speakers. Jonwyn Ayers- she is a student up at Black Hawk East and has a great TED Talk, that is actually a TED Talk, about climate, cattle, and conversations,” says Baker. “So, we’re really looking forward to having her. Then Michael Moore was recently certified to do livestock risk insurance. That’s something that is kind of newer. He is going to do an educational session about livestock insurance and making sure you’re covered.”

The Cattlemen’s Forum takes place Friday, March 22 at 3:30 at Meks on Main Monmouth.
