At the January West Central Board of Education meeting, discussion on projects to include in the 10-year Health Life Safety Survey was held, explains Superintendent Stacey Day:
“We definitely are keeping the roof on there. We have decided we are going to hold off on the parking lot side of things for right now. We have some patching to do, but not an overhaul redoing of our parking lots. We are going to finalize that list finally this month. That will give us the next five to ten years to start working on stuff and making those improvements. We are looking at some new PA systems in a couple of our buildings, which is good for daily use but also that security feature of that. We also have some additional windows. We have replaced the windows at the elementary a couple of years ago, the high school we are going to do this summer, and then the middle school to look at there as well.”
The next West Central Board of Education meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 21st at 6 pm in the Elementary Cafeteria.
