On Friday, March 15th, the Galesburg Christian School will hold their annual fundraising auction at The Vault in Galesburg. With 269 current students enrolled and the recent addition of a new building, Administrator Bob Nutzhorn says proceeds this year will assist in offsetting costs of running the school:
“It is going to be a big push to help us meet some financial needs we have right now, but we have seen our community come together and help us so many times, it has been pretty neat to see. It is solely for our General Fund to help us keep the building going and keep the teachers paid and all those things. We would like to do it more towards a fun project, but for this year it really is needed for that because of our expansion, it has taken some dollars away from our General Fund.”
Doors will open for the annual Galesburg Christian School Fundraising Auction at 5:30 pm with hors d’oeuvres, followed by dinner, silent and live auction items, and ending with remarks from members and students of the school.
