Join Jamieson Community Center for “A Night at the Races” fundraiser on March 16 at the Warren County History Museum, where you can make a real impact for Warren County residents in need. Our food pantries at JCC and Recharge Teen Center have seen a 91% increase in visits, reflecting the growing demand for assistance. Stories of individuals facing SNAP benefit cuts and tough choices between bills and food underscore the urgency of our cause.

To ensure no one in need of food is turned away, we invite you to participate in this exciting event.

  • Tickets $25 in advance/$30 at the door: Your ticket includes an immersive experience with horse racing on the big screen, placing your bets with fun money, and delicious heavy hors d’oeuvres.
  • Meet & Greet tickets $10: Don’t miss the chance to meet Dealer Joe (DJ), the great-great-grandson of Secretariat, a legend renowned for winning the 1973 Triple Crown. DJ currently resides at Rainbow Riders – a living link to racing history. Join us for an unforgettable encounter with this extraordinary bloodline!
  • Name a Horse for $20: The fun part about naming a horse is that if your horse wins a race, you win a trophy! Imagine the thrill of seeing a horse with a name of your choosing galloping to victory and clinching that coveted trophy.

Doors open at 5 pm, Meet and Greet from 5 – 6 pm, and Post time 6:15 pm. Click on the link, https://jcc-a-night-at-the-races.cheddarup.com or scan the QR code to get your tickets today. Checks mailed to JCC or hand-delivered are also welcome!

We would like to thank our sponsors. In the Winner’s Circle are Midwest Bank and Smithfield Foods. The Triple Crown goes to United Way of Greater Warren County and LMP Agency. The Trifecta includes Compeer Financial, McGuire and Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, and Security Savings Bank. Triple Treat Food and Beverage Sponsors are Sweets by Tiffany and Taqueria San Jose Mexican Restaurant.

All proceeds benefit the food pantries at JCC and Recharge Teen Center.

Thank you for lifting up our community through connection, compassion and service.
