Illini Advance to First Sweet 16 Since 2005

For the first time since 2005 the Illinois men’s basketball team is headed to the Sweet 16. Head Coach Brad Underwood says that it’s great to be headed to the second weekend of basketball after early exits in the past few years.

The Illini head to Boston to play on Thursday. They first face the 2 seed – Iowa State Cyclones.
