Illini Top Badgers for Big Ten Championship

The Fighting Illini are Big Ten champions after beating Wisconsin at the Target Center yesterday in the conference championship.  The game was tied at 85 with under two minutes left in regulation before Terrence Shannon Jr. sunk a three-pointer to put the Illini up for good.  Shannon had 34 points in the victory, while Marcus Domask finished with 26.  The Illini earned a three-seed in the NCAA Tournament, and they’ll take on Morehead State on Thursday.
