Three Rivers Athletic Conference Undergoing More Changes in 2024-2025 School Year

Share

This upcoming spring sports season will be the final time we see the Three Rivers Athletic Conference in its current form. The 13 team high school sports conference is set to undergo some big changes in the summer. Two current schools, the Morrison Mustangs, who will be heading up to the Northwest Upstate Illini Conference, and the Bureau Valley Storm, who are joining the Lincoln Trail Conference will be leaving the TRAC. The Mercer County Golden Eagles will switch places with Bureau Valley and join the Three Rivers from the Lincoln Trail Conference, giving the conference 12 schools in total. For all sports excluding football, the divisions will still be divided in to the traditional East and West format, while football divisions will be divided between big and small schools. Monmouth-Roseville High School will be competing in the big school division for football.

Speaking on the WRAM Morning Show this morning, Monmouth-Roseville High School Athletic Director and head football coach Jeremy Adolphson discussed how the changing landscape of the Three Rivers will impact the Titans going forward.

Adolphson adds that he feels that Monmouth-Roseville’s time in the Three Rivers Conference only continues to get better in terms of travel, and matching up with historical rivals.
