Controversy Over New EPA Rules On Truck Emissions

Share

The EPA is facing push-back over new rules regulating trucking emissions.  This, after the agency approved rules limiting emissions of greenhouse gasses and other pollutants by trucking companies.  The rules are aimed at pushing companies to adopt electric vehicles in order to stay in compliance.  Critics say they will cost trucking companies millions, costs that will get passed on to the consumer.  Supporters insist the rules will save trucking companies money in the long term and provide numerous climate and health benefits.
